LC Miller Model "H" Water Cooled Coaxial Cable for 600 Series Heavy Duty Re-coil Terminal

The Model "H" Series Coaxial Cables are water cooled, have an outside diameter of 1-7/8", and will coil in approximately a 24" circle Each conductor is 170,000 CMA and the cables are being used on induction heaters up to 50 K.W. With the 8009 Input Cable Terminal, the normal input voltage is 1500 volts at 450 KHz. The cables are available in any length from 5 feet to 50 feet and may he ordered with an 8008 Variable Area Flow Meter and Pressure Gauge in place of the 8009-2000 Clear Site Tube Assembly which is standard equipment.

The 8013 Coil Terminal is used as a means of securely fastening the work coil into the two collets of the cable. The work coil is soldered into the 8013 Coil Terminal, then the 5/8" hard copper tubes are inserted into the collets on the cable, with no deforming when the collets are tightened.

An 8020 Coil Adapter can be used in place of the 8013 Coil Terminal allowing a lighter duty Model "R" Coaxial Cable to he used as an extension. This also makes the Work Coils for a Model "R" Cable interchangeable with the "H" Model Coils.

Work Coils mounted in 8013 Coil Terminals may be used directly in the Re-Coil Terminal at the induction heater by first inserting the 5/8" hard copper tubes into the 8071-H-625 Coil Adapter for horizontal mounting, or the 8081-H-625 Coil Adapter for vertical mounting. The Coil Adapters are then clamped into the Re-Coil Terminal in the same manner as the Coaxial Cable would be.

The 8009 Input Terminal may be replaced with an 8015-1020 Cable Extension Terminal having two 5/8" hard copper tubes that can be inserted into the 5/8" collets on the Output Terminal Assembly of another cable to allow two or more cables to be joined together where longer lengths are required.

Model "H" Coaxial Cable Mounting Brackets are available in a variety of arrangements with either a pedestal base with screw holes for attaching to the desired surface or a clamp for clamping to a table edge, plate, rod or bar, and is adjustable to various positions.
